All of a sudden, things seem to be happening very quickly! Jerry will be graduating next Friday (March 14) and will then be home for 9 days on leave. After that, it's likely that he'll be sent to Germany almost immediately. I'll be staying behind to oversee the moving of all of our stuff, the shipping of one of cars and the selling of the other. I plan to leave Asheville near the middle of April in order to spend a few weeks visiting relatives in New England before I leave for Germany in early May. At least that's the plan. Getting the orders will allow us to finalize all of this. Scooter got to visit the vet in preparation for the move. He didn't like them trying to stick something in his butt or the shot in his nose. But he did like the many treats he received for being a (sorta) good boy! I've begun dismantling the house, which is proving to be a big job. We need to sort through everything to determine what to take, what to store and what to get rid of. Because I'm an organizational freak, I'm loving the process, but hating the inevitable clutter!

Here are the newest flowers to grace my fiestaware vase! I don't know anything about flowers, but I really like these, whatever they are!
Hev... I know I just posted a note on your facebook page asking for an update, and lo and behold, here is one.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you know where you are going to be landing, and that you are excited about the move to Germany. I am psyched for you both, especially having you back in the same place together!
I see your blog mentioned moving in late April, early May right? If that does end up being your schedule, I will be sorry we won't see you in May, but so happy for you to start this new, exciting phase!
All my love - Stacy
I can't believe it's all in motion already! What a big change for you - but how fun to think of the things to come!
