I'm still here....

I know that some of you are loyal readers of the GiantPantz blog and are wondering why I haven't updated in nearly a week. Jerry had a four day weekend last week, so I spent a lot of time with my husband. I have to take advantage of that as much as I can since army life means that there will be times (sometimes great lengths of time) when I won't get to see him at all. I've also been unpacking like a madwoman. When I was in college, my parents always knew that they could drop me off at a new dorm room and by the time they returned the next day, everything would be unpacked, the room decorated and everything would be in its proper place. I haven't changed much since then. By yesterday morning, every box had been unpacked. I had initially set a goal of two boxes per day, which would take a couple of weeks to get completely unpacked. I should've known myself better than that! Although things are out of boxes, not everything is quite in place yet. I'm hoping to finish that up today, or at the very latest tomorrow, at which time I will return to you, loyal readers, and provide pictures of our home. I'm really happy with how it's looking so far and really feel like I'm finally home!
